Yes, the Ranger has an IP-67 Water Ingress Protection Rating meaning it's completely waterproof (fresh & salt water) and submersible up to the 3 feet for 30 minutes.

FYI, it does NOT float.

• Always keep the port cover closed around water.
• Do NOT allow your speaker to be exposed to any water or moisture while it is being charged or while it is plugged into a power outlet. Doing so can raise the risk of electric shock and also cause damage to your speaker.
• If the speaker is exposed to salt water, wash it off with fresh water after use.
